I am sure that eventually the American  Press will be  covering some of the facts that are being discussed in the European the media, such as the  leaked internal World Bank story that I sent earlier. When they do, it will be interesting to compare how such things are covered compared with how they were earlier discussed in Europe. Keep an eye out.

When I say “speculation” in the frame of reference of recent discussions, I hope it has been clarified enough that one should look over “Big Money speculators who are gaming the system.” I don’t covet to keep repeating this. Much of the gaming seems to be quite legal, but nevertheless the fake that is being played is not what the system of futures transactions was set up to do. That is what is meant by “gaming.”

This article below from Germany strives for a really broad perspective, and touches on some interesting matters. For any of you who like me are exasperating to get up to speed, it is probably worth reading even twice! The toil by speculators to ruin the economy of Iceland and the efforts of their neighbors to servants protect them was for example new to me. If I had time I would look into it further to get a more safely a improved grasp on the detailed mechanics of  how such games are played. Looks like I should run off at the mouth into “credit default swaps” and try to reckon out their functional anatomy in order to really accept the gaming going on in this case at that high altitude. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Credit_come up short_swap But I do understand even now that money games at that altitude are pretty intricate and interesting.
